7. Data retention period
Camera surveillance data shall be retained for the time deemed necessary, if it contains data that is needed for the investigations on the basis of the intended use. After the investigation, the data is retained for as long as necessary to prepare, present or defend the legal claim. When the need to retain the data has ended, the data will be deleted within three years. Otherwise, the data is, as a rule, overwritten by the new recording within six months after recording.
8. Regular disclosure of data
As a rule, the data is disclosed to outside of Avain Yhtiöt.
In cases of suspected crime, the data may be handed over to the police.
9. Transfer of data to outside the EU or the EEA
The data will not be transferred outside the territory of the EU Member States or the European Economic Area.
10. Right of inspection, prohibition and rectification
Data subjects have the right to inspect their data that is stored in the data file. The inspection request must be sent to the person in charge of data file matters, and it must be in writing and include the data subject’s signature. The request for inspection can also be made in person by visiting the controller. In order to find the data, the data subject must specify the place and time as when the recording would have taken place, as precisely as possible. The requester must attach their own photograph to the inspection request.

11. Data file protection principles
The data contained in the data file that is processed electronically is protected by firewalls, passwords and other technical measures that are generally acceptable in the field of data security. Manually maintained materials are located in premises that cannot be accessed by unauthorised persons.
Only specified employees of the controller and of companies acting on the controller’s behalf who have signed a non-disclosure agreement have access to the data contained in the data file by means of an individual right of access granted by the controller.
