Applying for a right-of-occupancy apartment is easy with these instructions.
The first thing you need to do is apply for queue number from ARA. After that, you can use our housing search to search for and submit an application for your favourite apartments.
In order to receive a right-of-occupancy apartment, you must be 18 years of age, and you cannot have an owner-occupied dwelling in the same area or sufficient funds to buy an owner-occupied dwelling. Income does not affect your eligibility for the apartment, and the wealth limits do not apply to people over the age of 55.
Apply a right-of-occupancy queue number from ARA (The Housing Finance and Development Center of Finland)
Check out our available apartments and submit a housing application for the apartments of your choice. You can also submit an application for our vacant apartments or choose apartments that are covered by a contract.
We will offer you an apartment that matches your application as soon as it is or is about to become available. If the apartment interests you, you can accept the offer, it does not yet bind you to buy the apartment.
The apartment is reserved for the applicant with the smallest right-of-occupancy queue number. Before signing the contract, we will check the eligibility requirements for right-of-occupancy housing and accepts the applicant as a right-of-occupancy resident.
You must submit the following attachments in order to be approved as resident, which we will request separately after the offer phase. You can collect them in advance to speed up the approval process.
