Next to the historical Kivääritehdas, there is a five-floor apartment building, completed in 2006. In the past Kiväritehdas was used to manufacture goods for war preparations, now you can find different services available from sports to making handicrafts.

This apartment building has 40 apartments with saunas and functional layouts. The sizes vary from 36.5 m² studios to 64 m² two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a balcony or a terrace (on the ground level). A drying room, a community storage, an outdoor equipment storage and a parm storage are available for use by all residents. In addition, each apartment has its own personal storage space. The property has 25 parking spaces with electrical sockets for heating.

The nature preservation area of Tourujoki allows you to relax from the noises of the city centre. And when it’s time to go for a trip the train and bus station, Matkakeskus, is just a kilometre away. The closest bus stops are within walking distance and the cycling roads are great and you have an easy access to all directions.
