At an excellent location in Lahti’s Ankkuri, next to Vesijärvi’s harbour, there is a right-of occupancy apartment building.
The apartments in this property conform to all kinds of living situations. With own saunas and balconies these 32 apartments have spacious layouts which makes decorating easy. The apartments have been renovated and for example bathrooms have been modernised in 2016. A drying room, a community storage, and an outdoor equipment storage are available for use by all residents. The verdant trees make the yard look like a park, and you can find a slide on the yard for children to play with.
Sibelius Hall and the scenery of Vesijärvi with its cafes and restaurants offer excellent setting to enjoy culture and the lake right next to your home. The Shopping Centre of Ankkuri offers shops like S-market, Kotipizza and R-kioski. The services of the city centre are within a walking distance, including shops like K-Citymarket and Sokos, in addition, a high-school, a library, and other daily services. Lahti offers something for everyone during all seasons of the year. Radiomäki and the eskers of Salpausselkä create unique opportunities for outdoor activities. During summers you can go to swim in an outdoor pool or to the beaches, and during winters you have great skiing trails for tens of kilometres around the city.
Right-of-occupancy housing is an affordable form of housing where you pay a monthly residence charge. As a right-of-occupancy resident, you can also renovate your home and have permanent housing security. Pets are welcome in Avain apartments.
